Floral Design Workshops
In our floral design workshops, is a creative class in Wilmington, NC where you will learn how to create beautiful, intentional arrangements. The design elements and techniques introduced, will be go to skills every time you grab a bouquet of flowers. My hope is that you leave any workshop you attend, feeling more creative and confident and give yourself permission to find the things that bring you joy.

The Meaning of Flowers Workshop Details
February is the season of love, but also FLOWERS! In the winter, pops of color and whimsical blooms are a distant memory, hence Valentine’s Day flowers. Sending and receiving flowers became a tradition that signified how someone felt about another. Flowers had meanings that were well known and recognized. Red Roses mean love, but what about different color roses?
In this workshop we are going to lean into a less traditional Valentine’s color palette of Peach, Dark Purple, Dusky Violet, White, and Green. While discussing the meanings of different flowers, we will build a beautiful blooming bouquet in the loungy back drop of Freya’s Haus.
As always we will cover:
-Floral care
-Flower categories & why they matter
-Design techniques and skills
Included:
-A fun night of learning about different flowers meanings
-One on one instruction by an experienced florist
-A take home how-to guide to use when designing later
